You built a successful 20+ year career with Bank of America. Why did you decide to retire from the company?
I thoroughly enjoyed my career with Bank of America. Given my father’s failing health and the need to be even more hands on in managing his care, I decided that it was time for me to step back and pay close attention to my father. This was the best decision. My father lived approximately 6 more months after I retired.
What motivated you to start Rai Glover Consulting?
I’m a firm believer in living with purpose. I believe that my purpose is to help others. By starting Rai Glover Consulting, I am able to assist individuals, institutions and corporations in working with people and processes in achieving excellence.
What services will Rai Glover Consulting offer?
Rai Glover Consulting will offer consulting services to corporations and groups in the areas of leadership development, community affairs, coaching services to educational institutions and universities, and coaching services to individuals ranging from leadership development to work/life balance.
I will also serve as an announcer, commentator and mistress of ceremony for galas, pageants and other events.
Why concentrate on motivational speaking and coaching?
Going back to the whole notion of living with purpose, in addition to consulting and coaching for excellence, I enjoy giving motivational speeches to encourage, uplift and promote others. I am also certified by the National Speakers Association.
